(if you're wondering: fluttershy is of persian descent, twilight sparkle is korean, rainbow dash is south american [didn't think of a specific country or anything], pinkie pie is african american, and both rarity and applejack are caucasian, but obviously very different ends of the spectrum)

Persians are also caucasian and definitely don't look like that, but mmk.
The noses don't start from above the brow bossing, they jut out with a sharp bump past the eyes,
that's more of a greek nose, though I guess they're the most similar phenotype, so it's not that huge of a mistake.
Also Irish or celtic pinkie with the curly hair would have made more sense since she has bright blue eyes.
